HORSEHEADS, NY – General Revenue Corp. (GRC), one of the nation’s largest collection agencies and a Sallie Mae subsidiary, today announced that it will host a job fair Saturday, Feb. 12 at its Horseheads facility. GRC is seeking to fill 45 positions immediately and to hire an additional 150 people by the end of this year. The Horseheads center will be Sallie Mae’s fourth collection operation in Western New York. Sallie Mae’s Pioneer Credit Recovery has operations in Arcade, Perry and Batavia.
GRC will hold on-site interviews in Horseheads of Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 325 Daniel Zenker Drive. Successful candidates will serve as recovery specialists responsible for performing collection activities and maintaining customer records. “This is an excellent opportunity for qualified, motivated candidates to apply for jobs at a growing company,” said Jennifer Adriance, human resources manager at GRC. “We encourage anyone who is interested in working for GRC to attend the job fair.”
Chemung County Executive Tom Santulli said he is pleased that GRC is moving quickly to staff its local operation. “This is a company with a commitment to grow and eventually be a major employer in the area.”

Positions earn competitive hourly wages, performance-based bonuses, and competitive benefits including health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, participation in a 401(k) and a stock purchase plan and stock options.
