Voorhees, NJ – Professional Recovery Services, Inc. (PRS), a New Jersey-based, certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), this year marks its fifteenth anniversary of service to creditors on a nationwide basis.


PRS was founded in mid-1990 by President and CEO Irene Kelso. At that time, the company consisted of only six employees and unlimited ambition. Since then, however, PRS has continued to grow by bringing together technology, customer service, training, and sound operational strategies to deliver exceptional service and superior debt collection results to clients.


With three call centers in New Jersey, PRS has grown significantly over the past 5 years. In fact, company revenue totals have grown 35% per year on average from 2000 through 2005. This year, PRS reached two impressive milestones. The company garnered prestige by earning a contract with the Federal government?s General Services Administration. This puts PRS among a select group of collection agencies qualified to do business with the Federal government based on qualifications to include past performance and references, nationwide capabilities, and financial strength. Additionally, PRS this year also completed its ISO-17799 certification, a measuring stick that shows the company is committed not only to proven processes, but also to documenting those processes.
