Citigroup Inc., the world’s largest bank, on Tuesday announced an overhaul of its consumer banking unit in a bid to improve customer service and win more business.
The changes were announced less than a month after Marjorie Magner, who had led the consumer unit, said she would leave Citigroup after 19 years. Consumer banking is New York-based Citigroup’s biggest business, generating more than half of the bank’s first-half profit and revenue.
