Ravinia Management Co. LLC is please to announce that one of its founders, Laurence Mollner was recently inducted into the ?Futures Hall of Fame?; which was established on the 50th Anniversary of the Futures Industry Association to commemorate the pioneers and legends of the futures industry. Larry joins such notables as Alan Greenspan, Senator Robert Dole and Sir Michael Jenkins. The FIA represents the interests of organizations and individuals who participate in the futures markets both in the U.S. and abroad. Members of the FIA are responsible for over 80% of the customer business conducted on U.S. exchanges. These members include international exchanges, banks, legal and accounting firms and hedge fund managers.

Larry spent over 30 years in the futures industry before retiring as president of Carr Futures, a position he assumed after selling the Dean Witter Futures division for DWR. He served as FIA chairman from 1995 to 1997 and worked tirelessly to bring exchanges and firms to the table to discuss common clearing—-a proposal he could demonstrate would offer considerable savings for all parties. He was a strong advocate for developing common formats and standards necessary to efficiently conduct a global business. He also served on the boards of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the National Futures Association (an industry regulatory body).

Larry Mollner and Irwin Bernstein are co-founders of Ravinia Management whose primary business model is to provide funding for the debt buying industry. Since starting in January of 2004, Ravinia has been involved with over $1 billion in transactions.
