Creditors Interchange, one of the nation?s largest privately held receivable management firms, is best known for their top recoveries of monies for some of the nation?s leading credit card issuers and lenders. What many people may be surprised to find out is that the employees of Creditors Interchange are not only talented at collecting money, they are also proficient at giving it when it comes to a number of local and national charities.
Since it?s inception, the employees of Creditors Interchange have been known for giving back to the community whether it be helping a needy family over the holidays, participating in one of the area?s community fix-up projects or sponsoring the neighborhood sports team or school event.
As the company grew from 35 to 800 employees, that spirit of giving only increased. Today the employees of Creditors Interchange provide not only for local charities in the New York region where the corporate facility is located, but on a national and international level for charities located around their branch offices in Ohio, Florida, Nevada and Canada as well. Employees of the company have the opportunity to contribute to a ?charitable giving fund? via payroll deduction. These monies are then donated to various charities based on employee recommendation. Sarah Ruffino, a Collections Specialist for Creditors Interchange, summed up the company?s efforts stating, ?It?s very rewarding to be a part of an organization that places so much emphasis on those within the communities where it operates. It truly helps create a family atmosphere.?
On May 13, 2005, in a special presentation, the employees of Creditors Interchange presented checks to representatives of this year?s first quarter charities. They included $3,500.00 to the March of Dimes, $5,000.00 to the American Red Cross for Tsunami victims in Southern Asia and Eastern Africa, and $15,000.00 for Carly?s Club to help pediatric cancer patients throughout Western New York.
Bruce Gray, President, CEO of Creditors Interchange, added ?CI is proud to continue its tradition in giving back to the community and I?m proud to work with people that are so willing to help others?.
