TransUnion to Acquire Healthcare Software Company

TransUnion today announced it will acquire ADS ResponseCorp, Inc. (ADSR). The Fort Lauderdale-based company provides automated software solutions to clinics, hospitals and healthcare providers to assist uninsured and underinsured consumers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TransUnion and ADSR have been strategic partners and jointly developed and released TransUnion's Healthcare Revenue Cycle Platform in 2004. Combining TransUnion's financial, collections and credit information with ADSR's premier financial screening software has enabled customers to qualify hundreds of thousands of patients for assisted and individual payment options.
