Not getting our e-mails?

If you've signed up for one or more of our newsletters, but you've yet to receive one, your e-mail program is probably treating email from us as "spam."

To ensure that you receive all the newsletters you've signed up for, you might want to take a couple of minutes and look over some tips on keeping us on your e-mail program's "safe sender" list. In the meantime, you can also let your IT department know that e-mails from insideARM.com are safe, and should be put on your company’s "safe sender" list.

For instructions on how to set your email program to accept mail from us, choose your program here:

Microsoft Outlook | AOL | Yahoo | Hotmail

If the email program you’re using is not listed here, please feel free to contact us here. We’d be happy to help you.

Microsoft Outlook

Check and see if our emails are sitting in your Junk E-mail folder.

If they are, simply right-click on the e-mail, highlight the Junk E-mail option and choose either Add Sender to Safe Senders List (this will keep only those specific emails from being filed in your Junk E-mail folder) or Add Sender's Domain (@insidearm.com) to Safe Senders List. This will allow all email from insidearm.com to show up in your inbox rather than your junk folder.

If you can’t find our emails in your Junk E-mail folder, you can manually add email addresses to your safe list.

From Outlook, click Actions, and then highlight Junk E-mail. Choose Junk E-mail Options. Click the Safe Senders tab and then click Add. Enter the e-mail domain (the stuff that follows the @ in an e-mail address) like this: @insidearm.com.

If you’re still not getting our e-mails, or if you need some additional help, please feel free to contact us for more assistance.

AOL

To ensure that you receive mail from us in your AOL e-mail account, you’ll need to place an email ID in your AOL `Address Book'. Here's how:
  • Go to Keyword Mail Controls
  • Select the screen name to which the newsletter is sent
  • Now choose Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name
  • For AOL 7.0, include in the section, "exclusion and inclusion parameters", the domains from which email is sent: insidearm.com.com
  • For AOL 8.0, choose "Allow mail from AOL Members and addresses listed"
  • Type: insidearm.com
  • Click Add.
  • Choose Ok displayed at the bottom.

If you’re still not getting our e-mails, or if you need some additional help, please feel free to contact us for more assistance.

Yahoo!

Yahoo! Mail uses combination of bulk mail folders and filters. If you are not receiving mail from us, check your Bulk Mail, locate the filtered newsletter, and choose This Is Not Spam next to the From field.

Or to create filter for your newsletter:

In Yahoo mail, click the Mail Options link on the top-right navigation bar, and then choose Filters located on the left side of the page, under the Spam column.

To create a new filter, click the Add Filter link on the Filters page.

  • Choose the field you want to match in the incoming message. For example, select the one of the following headers: From, To/Cc, Subject, or Body to match.
  • Choose the criteria by which you want a match to be made. For example: contains, ends with.
  • Enter the text string to compare. For example: @insidearm.com.
  • Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered. Note you can create a folder by selecting "New Folder".
  • If you have more than one filter, you'll also see "up" and "down" arrows to the right of the filter list. Use these buttons to select the placement of your new filter within your existing sequence of filters. Filter order is important because Filter 1 will be the first filter applied to an incoming message, Filter 2 will be the next, and so on until a match is made or all filters are passed. If no filters match an incoming message, it will be delivered to your inbox.

Be sure to click the Add Filter button to put your new filter into effect, after you've selected a folder in which to file the e-mail.

If you’re still not getting our e-mails, or if you need some additional help, please feel free to contact us for more assistance.

Hotmail

To ensure that newsletters are not sent to your Hotmail Junk E-Mail folder, you can add the newsletter email address or domain (A domain is the portion of the e-mail address that comes after @--e.g. @insidearm.com) to your Hotmail Safe List.

  1. Go to the Options page. (upper right of screen)
  2. On the left side of the page, click Mail, and then click Junk E-Mail Protection.
  3. Click on Safe List.
  4. Type an address or domain from which you always want to receive messages, and then click Add.
  5. Click OK.
