We want to hear from you by way of comments, but it's in the whole community's interest to have some ground rules.
Will my comment appear immediately?
No, comments are moderated. Our staff are notified of your comment immediately, and we'll approve it as quickly as possible. It might take as long as a day, but in most cases it occurs within a few hours.
Why might my comment not be approved?
Comments of all varieties are encouraged. However, we reserve the right to reject your comments if they are deemed offensive or fall out of convention for what is appropriate for blogs (e.g. off-topic, aggressive, promotional, etc).
Can I use HTML in my comment?
No, comments must be in plain text. Any html code will be removed from your comment upon submission.
Can I comment anonymously?
Yes, you can comment without displaying your name or by creating a unique 'public user name'. Your identity, however, is maintained by the site administrator.
What is a public user name?
It is how you are identified in all the comments that you post and is created the first time you make a comment. You can choose to use your real name or a pseudonym.
Can I change my public user name?
No, but if you give us a good reason we'll do it for you.
