Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. Expands Chicago Operations

Effective August 1, 2005, the partners of Feingold & Levy, an established and well-recognized law firm in the greater Chicago area, joined Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. (WWR), the largest creditors' rights law firm in the nation according to Collection & Credit Risk magazine based on placements and revenue. The Feingold & Levy firm provided collection and bankruptcy representation to creditors for over twenty-five years. By expanding in this fashion, WWR was able to grow its operations with very talented and experienced professionals. The firm assumed Feingold & Levy's existing office in downtown Chicago, and will also continue to operate its suburban Deerfield office. WWR welcomes Jeffrey M. Feingold and Jay K. Levy. Jeffrey Feingold will be the managing attorney of Administrative Operations while Jay Levy will be the managing attorney of Legal Operations. John Pucin will remain the managing partner for WWR in Chicago and continue to oversee all Chicago operations.

Jeffrey M. Feingold focuses on Collection Services and Legal Action Recovery as the managing attorney of administrative operations in Chicago. Mr. Feingold obtained his J.D. from the DePaul University, College of Law (1974) and his B.A. in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of Illinois (1971). A member of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, American, Illinois, and Chicago Bar Associations, Mr. Feingold is licensed in the state courts of Illinois. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of IL). Mr. Feingold is currently a member of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, Commercial Law League of America, Healthcare Financial Management Association, INSOL International, International Association of Commercial Collectors, and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. He is an avid sailor, participating in both long distance racing (Chicago to Mackinac) and course racing (Great Lakes). Jay K. Levy focuses on Collection Services and Legal Action Recovery as the managing attorney of Legal Operations in Chicago. Mr. Levy obtained his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College, School of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology (1974) and his B.S. in Education from Northern Illinois University (1971). A member of the Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations, Mr. Levy is licensed in the state courts of Illinois. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of IL). Mr. Levy is currently a member of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, Commercial Law League of America, Healthcare Financial Management Association, INSOL International, International Association of Commercial Collectors Inc., and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.
