Radius Software and ACCESS Corp. Announce Merger

Radius Software Solutions (Radius), a flexible, management-driven software and product provider based in Jacksonville, Fla., today announced it has merged with ACCESS! Corporation, a predictive dialer systems company based in Playa del Rey, California, effective February 2, 2009.

All key people at both companies will remain with the now-combined organization, including James “Jim” Eccleston, who will remain as chairman and CEO of Radius.  “This transaction brings together a dynamic software solutions integrator with a true innovator in predictive dialing.  The result for creditors and ARM companies will be more robust and enhanced telephony and analytics delivered in a more nimble, responsive environment,” commented Mr. Eccleston upon making the announcement.

Mark Love, a key executive at ACCESS! Corporation since 1996, will remain as president of Radius.  Under Mr. Love’s leadership, ACCESS! Corporation developed and successfully deployed the first cross-platform, real-time, integrated dialer for collections.  This made predictive dialing simpler to use, more effective and affordable for a wider range of applications. Don Borer, founder of ACCESS! Corporation, will also remain with the company, leading the engineering and development team.

“The broader talent pool and capabilities Radius now offers as a result of this convergence will lead to greatly enhanced opportunities within the industry to improve productivity and bottom-line results,” said Mr. Love.

He continued, “The future of Radius will be based on our partners goals and objectives and empowering them to implement their own business strategies.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
