Portfolio Management Group is Now Aktiv Kapital Canada
Canadian ARM firm Portfolio Management Group to take on the Aktiv Kapital moniker after 2005 acquisition.
On July 2, 2008, Portfolio Management Group embraced a formal transition to the Aktiv Kapital name and brand identity.
Aktiv Kapital ASA purchased Canadian accounts receivable management company Portfolio Management Group in October of 2005 ("Aktiv Kapital Announces Acquisition of Debt Purchaser Portfolio Management Group," Oct. 3, 2005). Following the acquisition, PMG operated as a separate brand for three years. Now as Aktiv Kapital Canada Ltd., the organization is embracing a brand that is uniting all Aktiv Kapital organizations across the globe.
The new unified brand will enable Aktiv Kapital to leverage knowledge and best practices across global markets and will increase the availability of knowledge and efficiencies at all Aktiv Kapital organizations. These additional benefits are expected to further establish Aktiv Kapital as Canada’s leading debt buyer.
Aktiv Kapital currently maintains a presence in Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
