New Collection Agency Opening Call Center, Hiring 200
A newly formed consumer debt recovery company plans to employ more than 200 in a new call center in Greenville, SC, its president said Tuesday.
Ventus Capital Services LP of St. Louis is putting the call center in about 25,000 square feet of office space at the Park East complex off of Interstate 385, said Tim Beffa, president and chief executive.

The 400-employee, privately held Ventus Capital recovers delinquent auto loans, credit card debt and healthcare-industry receivables.
It was formed Nov. 1 as a joint venture between Beffa and members of his management team, on the one hand, and Sherman Financial Group LLC of New York, on the other, Beffa said.
