What's this?

Datalure, a division of CCS-Adplus, LLC and a leading provider of collection information solutions, today announced a new service to help companies reduce expenses and risks associated with dialing cellular phone numbers.

“Companies collecting debt are facing new challenges associated with a rise in consumers’ use of cell phones, and the restrictions being imposed on the collection’s industry related to use of these numbers.  It has become critical that collection companies identify when a cell phone number is in its possession before attempting to reach a debtor to ensure compliance with laws that restrict how these numbers can be utilized to contact debtors and avoid steep fines and litigation,” said Will Turner, Datalure’s Director of Sales.

For over 15 years, Datalure and its sister division, Infolure have provided various phone and address indicators to help creditors and financial institutions comply with industry regulations and improve their contact campaigns.  Datalure’s announcement of this new service fulfills a new need in the collection’s marketplace.

DL Cell Flagging Service provides a low cost and effective means to identify cell phone numbers associated with consumers.  Datalure provides the option to suppress or flag the telephone numbers, which puts the client in control of determining the best way to act on this information for their organization.  This service leverages national cell phone files that also include landline phone numbers ported to cell phones and cell phones ported to landline phones.  Information is updated daily to ensure the most accurate and complete information.

Glenn Gottfried, CCS-Adplus, LLC’s CEO, said, “CCS-Adplus has been providing similar services to a number of companies in the direct marketing industry for many years.  It’s exciting to be able to help companies solve key business issues by bringing unique data and techniques from the direct marketing industry to the receivables management industry.  We are seeing a growing demand from collection agencies and debt buyers to apply new and innovative approaches to segmenting portfolios and contacting debtors, and our company is pleased to be able to work closely with our clients to bring these solutions to market.”
