NCO Group Replaced on S&P SmallCap Index

In light of NCO Group’s proposed management-led buyout and move to take the collection giant private, Standard & Poor's announced late Monday that the company will be replaced on its S&P SmallCap 600 index.

S&P said that the replacement date will be determined later. Since NCO’s deal is not yet final, the index is most likely waiting for official approval. NCO will be replaced on the index by First Financial Bancorp.

NCO Group has been a component of the S&P SmallCap 600 index since September of 2002.
