What's this?

The InterProse Corporation, headquartered in Vancouver, Wash., has filed a patent application with the United States Patent office for their groundbreaking invention the ARIA™ Virtual Agent. The application is entitled "Methods and Systems for Account Management and Virtual Agent Design and Implementation".

ARIA Virtual Agent enables any company with a web presence to collect delinquent accounts, sell products and services, provide customer service and offer technical support all that is both intelligent and friendly. It enables an animated character called an Avatar to converse with customers and point them quickly to the solution they need, based on a decision tree detailing a list of possible questions they might ask.

ARIA Virtual Agent is built on a robust accounts receivables and CRM platform, WebAR®. It can be multilingual so companies can communicate effectively with non-English speaking customers. For the hosting company, handling more customer requests online promises substantial savings.

"For example, when an account becomes overdue, a borrower often needs help to negotiate and manage the account to a favorable outcome. Research studies show that many as 90% of customers who have an overdue balance would rather respond to an on-line agent than a live agent. However, a simple web site typically lacks a personal touch and fails to make any contact on an emotional level," Matthew Hill, President of InterProse stated, "Often, a personal or emotional connection is all that is needed to turn a soon-to-be-adversarial encounter into a mutually-beneficial negotiation. This type of connection can be made more probable with a web site through the use of a virtual agent."

InterProse and its strategic partner ACCESS Receivable Management of Towson, Md. have worked together for over two years to develop the application. Tom Gillespie of ACCESS stated, "Prior to ARIA, a customer had to spend many minutes navigating a website, hoping to find the right solution. ARIA's intelligent decisioning combines information from internal and external databases to present customized offers based on demographics, histories, and credit scores. They simply click on the Avatar who speaks with them about the solution they need".

WebAR is a SaaS (Software as a Service) Internet based multi-function accounts receivable management and collection system platform. InterProse has become a preeminent provider of web based products and solutions for accounts receivable and debt management.

The InterProse Corporation, located in Vancouver, Washington, is an accounts receivable solutions provider offering web hosted software solutions for debt collection, healthcare, retail, government, utilities, and their third party partners.
