Tom Lane, President of Pyramid, states: "It is very important to give back and donate as much as we can in our community especially during these difficult economic times. Inflated gas prices have affected everything that consumers buy and many people are in desperate need of help right now. Pyramid can't solve the faltering economy but we can make individualized efforts in the right direction. In addition, the collection industry is typically perceived negatively when in reality it's the counseling by our staff that helps consumers avoid Bankruptcy by working with them to resolve their financial difficulties."

Wheeler Mission Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to homeless, poor and needy of Central Indiana. Wheeler Mission was founded in 1893, making it the oldest continually operating ministry of its kind in the State of Indiana. While Wheeler is not a Church, it does work closely with many churches and has a faith-based approach to the services it provides.

The Wheeler emergency housing services offer meals, showers, chapel services, clothing, and pediatric medical and dental services. During the cold winter months, Wheeler adjusts the temporary residence rules to help individuals stay out of the dangerously cold weather. The Care Center provides a safe environment for homeless women and children, while the Hebron Center is dedicated to the spiritual rehabilitation of alcoholics, drug addicts, and their families. The Innovative Learning Center offers specialized computer programs that help Wheeler residents gain the necessary education and computer literacy needed to successfully reenter the community.
