Fitch Rates Discover's Debt Issuance 'BBB'; Outlook Negative

NEW YORK -- Fitch Ratings has assigned a 'BBB' rating to Discover Financial Services' 10-year $400 million issuance of 10.25% unsecured debt. The Rating Outlook is Negative. Proceeds from the issuance will be used for general corporate purposes.
