Executive Changes: Two American Debt Sales Partners Leave to Start Own Shop

John Russo and Godfrey Tan-Torres have announced that they are leaving debt buyer American Debt Sales to start their own entity focused on consulting and brokering in the accounts receivable management industry.

The two will no longer be working with Lake Mary, Fla.-based American Debt Sales as of last week.

Russo said that he and Tan-Torres are “currently structuring a platform to consult, broker and manage clients on buying, placing and collecting consumer and commercial debt.”

Russo has an existing S-corp entity, Elite Partners Financial, Inc., and Tan-Torres has an LLC, Silver State Acquisitions, LLC. Russo said that the two entities may merge into a new one that is focused on the debt purchasing sector of the ARM industry.

Tan-Torres has more than 14 years experience in banking/finance specific to credit card issuing, credit risk and collection. Russo has more than 16 years experience in the credit and collection industry.
