Cutler joins Ontario from Arrow Financial Services, where he served as executive vice president and chief technology officer. He has 30 years' experience in receivables management and is an acknowledged expert in the industry's systems, software applications and technology.

"We're excited to have someone of Brian's industry thought leadership and experience join our team," said Ontario Systems CEO Tony Reisz. "He was one of the original users of our FACS product, and has continued to provide valuable feedback as a client for over 20 years. His reputation and commitment to innovation will be invaluable assets to our debt management team as we strive to be the technology leader in this growing market."

"I'm pleased and eager to join the Ontario Systems team," Cutler said. "The company has a long history and a commitment to innovation that's exciting for me and our clients. I'm looking forward to being part of what we all expect will be a great leap forward for the industry."

A pioneer in early predictive analytics in purchasing debt, Cutler helped build one of the most successful debt-buying organizations in the country before selling it to Sallie Mae, where he became vice president of technology for the company's Asset Performance Group division. He has introduced a number of what have become the most common technologies, systems and practices in the industry today.

A member of the Experian Collection Executive Council, Cutler has served on and moderated panels for Collection Advisor, and writes a monthly technology column for the magazine. He holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from the University of Illinois.
