Rich Charles
Client Services, Vertex
Rich Charles joined Vertex through the acquisition of Alliance Data Utility Services and is the Head of Client Services. Rich began his professional career as an engineer at Commonwealth Edison in Chicago.
He then joined Navigant Consulting, where he worked with a number of utilities on issues ranging from mergers and acquisitions to developing new service companies. Following two years at a billing software company, Rich joined Capstone Consulting Partners during its formative period.
At Capstone, he was one of the leaders of their Strategy practice, which included projects that helped energy companies evaluate CIS alternatives as well as the potential benefits and risks of outsourcing.
At Vertex he is responsible for account management and consulting for its Utility Services practice. Rich holds an electrical engineering degree and an MBA from Northwestern University.
