CEO of The Sagres Company Installed as President of California Association of Collectors

The Sagres Company announced today that its C.E.O. Tom Ferris was installed as President of the California Association of Collectors (CAC), on October 07, 2004. As president of the association Ferris will serve as Executive Officer of the Association and will preside at the Annual Convention, Special and General Sessions, and meetings of the Board of Governors and The Executive Committee.

Ferris previously served as president of CAC Chapter 4, and Chairman of American Collectors Association, International’s (ACA) Asset Buyers Program.

The California Association of Collectors is a Trade association servicing the California debt collection industry. CAC is one of the oldest debt collection trade association in the U.S. With almost 400 member agencies CAC represents 12% of the membership to ACA, which is a national debt collection industry association.

CAC helps promote fairness within the collection industry, by hosting a consumer hotline in both English and Spanish.
