Bulgaria has unveiled a comprehensive and aggressive debt collection campaign – which will also include confiscating the property of debtors.
The program is aimed at debtors owing sums less than 5,000 levas ($3,400).
The campaign started in Sofia and will also involve the cities and towns of Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Smolyan, Haskovo and Kurdzhali.
Debt collectors can also garnish the wages of debtors, provided the debtor earns more than 250 levas ($173).
