Aktiv Kapital Buys Collection Company in Spain; Focus to be Debt Purchasing

Aktiv Kapital ASA is pleased to announce that they on January 20th 2005 acquired the entire share capital of Treym Consulting y Servicios a Empresas, S.L. (Treym).

Treym was established in 1993 and currently has 29 employees at its offices in Madrid. It provides debt collection and administration services to a wide variety of financial and other institutions in the Spanish market. The former owners of the company will continue in their present management positions.

The business will focus on the expansion of Treym’s operations in order to accommodate the development of both Treym’s existing activities and Aktiv Kapital’s intention to acquire portfolios of consumer loans in Spain.
