North Carolina Collection Companies Merge to Create Stronger Regional Resource

Greensboro, N.C. - FirstPoint Collection Resources, Inc., has merged business operations with High Point-based Mosaic Revenue Solutions. The new business structure utilizes employees from both Mosaic and FirstPoint. The Mosaic business will now operate under the FirstPoint flagship.

Mosaic Revenue Solutions, established in 1989, specializes in healthcare accounts receivables and was affiliated with High Point Regional Health System. FirstPoint Collection Resources, Inc. is one of the largest accounts receivable management companies in the Southeast, serving the healthcare, retail, utility, commercial and government sectors. The operation is a division of FirstPoint, Inc, a Greensboro-based credit services and receivables management company that has been in business since 1906.

Jeff Miller, President & CEO of High Point Regional Health System, said “I’m confident that FirstPoint will offer a wealth of resources and expertise to Mosaic’s employees and customers. We’re very pleased with the new business arrangement and delighted that the jobs will remain in the Triad.”

FirstPoint President & CEO Michael F. Bumpass calls the business opportunity “a good match between two companies that have a history of industry expertise and excellent customer relationships.” He says that both companies anticipate a seamless transition with no interruption in service. Bumpass says, “We are looking forward to offering Mosaic customers access to a host of day-to-day business solutions provided by the FirstPoint family of resources.” By adding the Mosaic customer base and experienced talent pool to current offerings, FirstPoint aims to increase its robust array of resources for the healthcare industry. In addition to accounts receivable management, FirstPoint provides background screening, drug testing, CNA selection tools and Equifax credit reporting solutions.

This merger also represents another move towards regionalism on behalf of the FirstPoint parent company.
