Small Companies — 3rd Place
Governed by its mission “To Enhance the Financial Well-Being of Others,” General Services Bureau (GSB), a third party collection agency, attributes its success to the healthcare ARM industry, even though it services a variety of industries in the ARM sector.
In order to motivate workers, GSB provides an incentive program that consists of bonuses on a monthly basis. Collectors for the company have the opportunity to earn two bonuses. One bonus is attributed to the collector for meeting his/her individual goal, and the other bonus is attributed for meeting the team goal.
The company also helps its employees grow by giving up to $500 per year to employees for tuition reimbursement.
Conscious about the health of its employees, GSB provides healthy foods in their vending machines and hosts a walking contest called “Biggest Loser.” A weekly, on site Yoga class is also offered for all employees.
GSB’s health plan includes full coverage on long term disability and shared coverage on medical, prescription and dental. Employees must work a minimum of 30 hours per week for three months to be eligible to receive heath plan benefits.
