Salem, NH –  Christine Timmins Barry, President and CEO of Windham Professionals, has proudly joined the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement (JA) of Northern New England.  As the former Board Chairman of Junior Achievement of Greater Cincinnati, Christine is delighted to leverage her experiences with the New England Chapter.

“Earlier in my career, I was a JA volunteer in the classroom, and I saw how JA sparked business passion and purpose among high-risk students.  I’m truly honored to give back again by serving on JA’s New England board,” stated Christine Timmins Barry. “I’m proud of the Windham team that’s now introducing JA volunteerism to our employees.  Our U.S. offices already do a nice job supporting local educational initiatives, so JA is a very natural extension for us.

“Christine’s experience as a business leader and former JA Chair will be an asset to our organization,” said Kerry Bedard, President of Junior Achievement of Northern New England. “The Junior Achievement Board of Directors, staff, and I look forward to working with her as we seek to continue to impact the lives of tens of thousands of students in our region.”

As a company, Windham Professionals is lending its support to Junior Achievement on several levels.  Nationally, Windham committed to program support and volunteer efforts at the company’s multiple locations across the United States.  Windham is also participating in the JA Finance Park program; class lessons combined with an online simulations platform through which students build an educational foundation for making intelligent financial decisions that last a lifetime.
