Cincinnati, OH – Axcess Financial, a leader in the consumer financial services industry, continued its dedication to child-centered charity work by teaming with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati (BGCGC) to provide school supplies to more than 75 students.

The “Back to School” supplies drive was setup to supply students in grades K-12 with books as well as school supply kits that contained notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, & colored pencils.

In the month of July, the Axcess Financial Collections Team was challenged to gather 50 school supply bags and 100 books.  The collectors far surpassed their goal with the team raising 75 school supply kits and 165 books. They were also able to provide 50 scientific calculators in addition to the other supplies.

“These events give us the opportunity to volunteer in our communities in a meaningful way,” said Scott Sedmak, Corporate Communications Manager at Axcess Financial.  “It was a great event with some terrific kids who were very thankful for these supplies.”

This is the latest in a series of events Axcess Financial has sponsored in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati.  Over the past two and a half years, dozens of children from BGCGC received new bicycles, playhouses and other supplies.  Axcess Financial has also been a presenting sponsor of the Boys & Girls Club’s Annual “Great Race” and other BGCGC events.
