Collingswood, NJ – With the start of its sixth annual No Debts for Vets Charity Fundraising Drive just a few weeks away, ARMing Heroes (www.armingheroes.org), the collection industry’s charity for military veterans, today announced that ARM firms have already begun committing to hold company-wide drives in support of the charity and putting the fundraiser onto their corporate calendars.

The drive, which runs from September 11th through Veterans Day, November 11th, every year, relies on the generosity of ARM industry companies to raise and donate funds in support of military vets and their families.

Credit Adjustments, headquartered in Defiance, Ohio, has already pledged its support for 2015 by agreeing to hold such a drive this fall. CAI’s President, Dexter Smith, commented, “Our employees’ excitement around supporting this particular cause was evident last year, so we are honored to participate again in 2015.” Companies across the industry can follow suit by signing up to hold a drive here, effectively jump starting this year’s campaign even before its official kick-off on September 11, 2015. Once you register, downloading the Employee Fund Drive Starter Kit makes it easy to get started. In four easy steps, the kit outlines what is needed to announce, manage, and complete a successful employee drive.

Any company that holds a drive and donates to the charity will receive Donor Dog Tags to commemorate their support of military veterans, just like the American Outsourcing Alternatives’ employees who contributed in 2014.

Last year, donors contributed nearly $100,000, the largest amount of funds raised since the organization’s inception in 2009. As a result, nearly four dozen grants were awarded to struggling military vets and their families, most of which were disbursed to the creditors of grant recipients at the end of the year, just in time for the holidays. Many grant awards averaged close to $2000, with the largest grant at $5000.

Most grant recipients struggle with service-connected disabilities, unemployment, and delinquent debt, and have turned to ARMing Heroes to help get their lives back on track. Stories of past grant recipients remind us all how rewarding this program can be.

The charity’s flagship No Debts for Vets Charity Fundraising Drive runs from September 11th through Veterans Day, November 11th every year, however tax-deductible donations are accepted at any time online at www.armingheroes.org and via mail to PO Box 353, Collingswood, NJ 08108, payable to ARMing Heroes. Pledges may be made to info@armingheroes.org.  Any amounts pledged or donated now will be applied to the 2015 drive.
