Two Veterans Within Student Loan Collections Industry Join Forces to Start New Company

Deborah Brown and Alex Mobasher are proud to announce the launch of Pacific Point Services, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The company will be headquartered in Carlsbad, CA offering specialty collection services specifically focused on the student loan market. Deborah and Alex bring 40 years of combined collections experience specifically dealing with the Department of Education.

Deborah Brown is an industry expert within the student loan collection industry. She has extensive industry knowledge coupled with a strong industry network. She has over 20 years of defaulted student loan collection experience with both the United Stated Department of Education and within the private collection agency industry.

Alex Mobasher has been in accounts receivables management for more than 18 years. His experience in management started at Allied International Credit where he successfully managed collection departments of over 200 collection representatives for several major Bank and Retail clients such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Arizona Federal Credit Union and Providian Bank. While at Allied, Alex transitioned to defaulted student loan management division with the company’s Education Department (ED) contract. He recently left a very successful career with an ED subcontractor to create Pacific Point Services.
