Austin, Texas-based Gila Corp., through its business unit Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) has been chosen by the State of New Mexico to provide outsourced collection services. “We expect that MSB will help us find solutions to improve recovery rates and reduce delinquencies rates as they do for all their clients,” said Cynthia Pacheco, Director of the Magistrate Warrant Enforcement Program.

MSB has contracted with the state to collect on their delinquent traffic and misdemeanor accounts for all of the State’s magistrate courts.

“We’re pleased to be working with the State of New Mexico. Winning this contract was a result of our long history in collecting outstanding obligations from the courts across the nation,” said Patrick J. Swanick, Gila Corp’s CEO.

MSB also announced recently it has been awarded a contract with the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority. “MSB set a strategic goal in 2007 to leverage our government payment processing and collection services to work with more toll authorities. We’re pleased we accomplished this with a premiere local organization which directly impacts us here in Austin,” said Patrick J. Swanick, CEO of Gila Corporation.

MSB was selected to provide video billing, violations processing and collection services to the Mobility Authority. “We chose MSB because they offered competitive pricing and strong commitment to customer service,” said, Ron Fagan, Director of Operations for the Mobility Authority. “In addition, we found them to be flexible and responsive to the unique requirements of our organization,” said Fagan.

Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) offers outsourced collections, payment processing and call center services to governmental entities nationwide.
