Delta Management Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that employee and company contributions were made to various charities totaling more than $53,600 through 2013.

In a typically business casual working environment, employees are given the opportunity to wear jeans for the day, provided they make a donation to charity. Delta then matches the employee donation amount dollar for dollar. Delta’s employees have historically been very enthusiastic about the program; and participation was extremely high on every occasion, so much so that the 2013 donation total was a record high for Delta since the program’s inception in 2011.

Employees are also asked to provide recommendations for charities to receive donations from Delta. Delta employees submit suggestions for charities they know are in need of donations or organizations with which they are involved. Delta then makes donations to those charitable organizations based off the recommendation.

“Delta is committed to giving back to the community, and our employees are excited at the opportunity to give back in any way possible. The amount of total donations really shows the generous spirit of our organization, and it gives us a new benchmark for 2014,” said President, Christopher A. Riordan.

Donation recipients include St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warriors, Feeding America, Make -A-Wish Foundation, One Fund Boston, The Sandy Hook School Support Fund – United Way of Western Connecticut, Toys for Tots, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and many more.
