Diversified Consultants, Inc., a debt collection agency in Jacksonville, Fla., collected over 2,000 non-perishable food items on June 8th to donate to the Daniel Foundation, a non-profit organization helping improve the odds for kids.

DCI rallied their employees to bring non-perishable food items to work with them on Friday, June 8th by offering a pizza party for the team that brought in the most items. Every June, DCI holds their annual Employee Appreciation Day for their collectors and support staff to thank employees for all of the hard work they do. DCI also assists with various food drives, fundraisers, and toy drives throughout the year, but this is the first year they have merged a food drive with their Employee Appreciation Day and it was a huge success.

So much food was donated that multiple vehicles had to be used to transport all of it.

DCI employees load up food donation.

Daniel is a local charity that serves more than 1,000 children and their families every day through a variety of nationally-recognized programs. Some of these include foster care services, adoption, Independent Living, Delinquency Intervention and many more community based services.
