On August 29, 2012, Coast Professional, Inc. presented the Humane Society Adoption Center of Monroe with a check for $2680. Everett Stagg, President/COO, and Chris Brown, Senior Manager, presented Ellen Hicks, President of the Humane Society Adoption Center, with the check, which will assist with food costs and supplies for Second Chance Kennels.

Second Chance Kennels is a new program that allows students from the Swanson Center for Youth to train the shelter dogs to understand obedience commands. The Coast donation will assist both organizations, by creating more adoptable dogs and by teaching the students patience, kindness, and cooperation.

Coast is proud that its employees support the community by giving back. At the beginning of each year, Coast employees vote on charities to provide for in their West Monroe, LA and Geneseo, NY locations. The staff supports their choices by giving their own time to help; by raising funds and contributing their own dollars.
