The Monterey Business Council on Aug. 24 recognized Credit Consulting Services, Inc. (CCS) as one of five companies in its Fourth Annual Monterey County “Best Places to Work” program.

The Council commissioned Best Places to Work in a study sponsored by Workplace Investment Board and area employers. The purpose of the program was to recognize local business that excel in the workplace outcomes. CCS was recognized for its low turnover, amount of training hours invested into its employees, compensation, and other perks.

Every collector at CCS is required to complete training and testing to become a certified Professional Collection Specialist. CCS holds regular employee recognition meetings where employees earn company tokens that are redeemed towards company logo wear. Additional cash incentives are earned for achieving set goals. CCS believes in a healthy organizational workplace with a focus on ownership thinking. Employees are provided an opportunity to share their ideas and opinions by completing employee engagement surveys and participating in group meetings for best ideas.

This was the second time CCS was recognized as “Best Places to Work”. CCS also received this recognition in 2008.
