Collection Law Firm Named One of State's Fastest Growing for 4th year in a Row

For the fourth consecutive year, Javitch, Block & Rathbone (JB&R) has been named to the Weatherhead 100 list of fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio.

Each year the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, identifies the 100 area companies that best represent the Cleveland entrepreneurial spirit and serve as examples of successful businesses. In order to become a Weatherhead 100 winner, companies must have the highest percentages of sustained growth over the past five years, significant increases in the number of employees during that period, and a net increase in sales from 2005 to 2006.

Established in 1991, JB&R has grown to become the fourth largest creditor rights firm in the U.S. In addition to four Weatherhead 100 awards, JB&R has received the Innovator Award for their proprietary software and utilization of technology in their growth plan, and the Northcoast 99 award for being one of the best places to work in Northeast Ohio.

Joel Rathbone, JB&R?s co-managing partner said the Weatherhead 100 award represents a number of things to the firm and its employees. “It means we are doing something right, and it means job security. It also means rapid change which requires focus and dedication to change itself, which requires constant planning.”
