Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: AACC), a leading purchaser and collector of charged-off consumer debt headquartered in Warren, Michigan, recently held its 4th Annual WellFest. This Company-wide event educates associates about health and wellness options available to lead a healthier, well-balanced lifestyle.

“Health and wellness is a top priority for us at AACC. We believe workplace wellness programs are an investment in our most important resource, our associates, and we are proud to make it,” said Deanna Hatmaker, Vice President—Human Resources and Corporate Communications. “Each year we partner with local businesses and organizations dedicated to wellness and we host our WellFest. The information and demonstrations shared are lifesaving.  It truly is a special event that reminds associates of the importance of focusing on their healthy living goals.”

The WellFest was hosted in all three call centers and offered free health screenings, educational seminars, self-defense training, yoga and more. In spirit of the event, the Company also hosted a Community Asset Lemonade Stand in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Low-calorie lemonade was available in exchange for donations. This is the Company’s third year supporting the foundation’s goal of raising money toward fighting childhood cancer through its charitable giving program.  To date, Community Asset’s Lemonade Stand has raised nearly $4,000.
