ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collections Professionals, is pleased to introduce Robert L. Föehl as vice president and general counsel.   Föehl is responsible for managing ACA Legal Affairs, including compliance.

“Rob brings ACA International members a wealth of professional experience and legal expertise in highly-regulated industries including credit, collections and financial services,” ACA International Chief Executive Officer Pat Morris said. “We are excited that he has joined our talented team.”

Prior to joining ACA, Föehl spent nine years at helping lead retail giant Target’s legal, corporate compliance and ethics practices.  Previous professional experience includes serving in legal, compliance and consumer affairs capacities at U.S. Bancorp, Piper Jaffray, eFunds Corporation, and the Federal Reserve.  He is a recognized expert and frequent public speaker on financial services and collections law.

Föehl and his family live in St. Paul, Minn.  He received his Juris Doctor from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University.
