Ontario Systems, a leading receivables technology and services provider, announced its core product development operation has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and re-certified under ISO9001 standards today, highlighting exceptional dedication to quality, process, and project management, and product engineering and support best practices. The certification and appraisal represent two of the most widely-recognized third-party initiatives to ensure rapid, efficient, and enhanced product delivery and client satisfaction.

“Remaining a reputable, trustworthy, and credible advisor to our clients in the healthcare and ARM industries has always, and continues to be our organization’s paramount goal,” says Michael Wolfe, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Ontario Systems. “Our internal compliance initiatives provide the impetus to be as transparent as possible across our quality management efforts. We’re excited that third-party auditors representing both certifications have found our efforts meet their very stringent standards.”

CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time. The appraisal was performed by Ontario Systems on behalf of Dan Potts, a certified lead appraiser who serves the company as a Process Improvement Manager. ISO9001 certification includes a collection of more than 200 required practices deemed vital to the successful operation of a Quality Management System (QMS). It is administered by the International Organization for Standardization, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

“Our company remains the clear leader in the ARM and healthcare receivables space when it comes to third-party quality certification,” comments Ontario Systems CEO Ron Fauquher. “We’re proud of that distinction, but even more so of our clients who rightly demand we and their other receivables partners deliver on the promise to provide excellent products and services needed to excel. We look forward to continuing those partnerships, and meeting the even higher standard they place on us as an organization.”
