CR Software, the world’s leading collections and receivables management software supplier announced today Shelton Vance, former Audit Director for the Mississippi Department of Revenue, as keynote speaker for the 2012 Users Conference, Innovation Exploration — a theme centered around the pursuit of technological sophistication in collections and recovery management.

Vance uses the Titanium ORE (Open Receivables Environment) platform to streamline the State’s tax collections process, doubling collection revenues from $30 million to $60 million dollars the year after Titanium implementation. This revenue increase was the source of re-generated government-funded programs and facilities.

“The bottom line is that we’re better able to serve the taxpayers of Mississippi,” Vance said. “Titanium and the State of Mississippi have worked together to improve the lives of our citizens. And that’s significant.”

Innovation Exploration will be held May 16-18th in historic Alexandria, Virginia with a central focus enhancing collections and recovery through conference sessions, panel discussions, networking opportunities and updates on industry-specific events.

“This year’s agenda hits on numerous topics and tech tips our customer base will find valuable in the collections and recovery process,” CIO Ed Wallen said. “Our team spent a lot of time talking with customers about what matters to them most. The agenda reflects this.”

This year’s conference kicks off on Tuesday, Mary 15th, with the 20th annual golf outing at the Belle Haven Country Club, featuring a hole-in-one contest and other assorted events and prizes.

“The golf outing has become a staple of our conference,” Operations and Support Services Director Nils Krumins said. “We look forward to hosting it every year and it’s a fantastic networking opportunity on a beautiful course.”

Editor’s Note: insideARM.com’s own Michael Klozotsky and Naveen Hariprasad will also be presenting at CR Software’s User Conference. Go say “hi!”; they’ll love that.
